Lodge. Br. John T. Bean PGM , was Grand Master at the time, was instrumental in getting this new Lodge started and was asked if he would like to choose a name for the Lodge. He was very pleased by the offer and named the Lodge "Wallace Hughston" to honor the memory of his late, and very dear friend Wallace Hughston, Past Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas in 1933.
