Grand Masters Workshop

All Master Masons are welcome to join us for the 2014 Grand Master's Workshop. Like in previous years, the workshop will present unique and difficult scenarios, challenging the attendees to rely on their knowledge of Masonic law and best practices in conflict resolution. All Master Masons, regardless of station, office, or experience are strongly encouraged to attend. For junior and senior officers, the workshop is a great opportunity to get some experience of what it feels like to sit in the East and set your lodge to labor. For Past Masters, the workshop will offer excellent examples of real-work situations where, as a respected member of your lodge, you may be asked to weigh in on. There is always something new to learn.

This year, Coronado Lodge has graciously agreed to host the workshop. Light refreshments will be served after the program.

El Paso Wardens Retreat

The 2014 El Paso Wardens’ Retreat will be held on Saturday, 25 October at the El Paso Scottish Rite.  This year there will be three separate classes: Junior and Senior Warden courses instructed by PGM Tommy Griffin, Chris Williams and Larry Fitzpatrick, and a special ladies’ course instructed by Vi Griffin, Past Worth Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.  This will be the first time the ladies’ program will be offered in El Paso.

All Master Masons, regardless of current office, are welcome to register. Current lodge officers are strongly encouraged to attend.  You’ll receive instruction and guidance on lodge administration, leadership, conflict resolution, lodge planning, and many other topics.  The Wardens’ Retreat is truly one of the most beneficial programs a Mason can participate in, whether he is a newly raised Master Mason, thinking of going through the officer line, is in the officer line, or already a Past Master...there will be something for you to learn at the Retreat.
